وافقت الحكومة على اقتراح رئيس الوزراء بنيامين نتنياهو بإنشاء مستوطنة جديدة في المجلس الإقليمي سدوت النقب ، في قطاع غزة.

 رئيس الوزراء بنيامين نتنياهو: "هذا يوم عظيم لدولة إسرائيل. إنه رسالة داخلية ورسالة خارجية في نفس الوقت. نحن هناك أمام أعداء يريدون اقتلاعنا ، وهم يكتشفون ليس فقط أننا لسنا نازحين - نحن نزرع ونبني ونخلق. هذا شيء كبير جدًا - هذا هو جوهر الصهيونية  ".
