واطفالنا هم الجيل القادم لرفع مستوى التعاون والحب والسلام

يجب أن ندعم الفتيات من خلال منحهن فرص الوصول إلى الأدوات التي يحتجن إليها لتقرير مصائرهن. ويشمل ذلك كل ما يحتجن إليه ليزدهرن في عالم رقمي من مهارات تكنولوجية وقدرة على الاتصال وأدوات لكفالة السلامة. ويمكننا جميعا أن نستمد الإلهام من المراهقات اللواتي يأخذن زمام المبادرة ويصنعن حياة أفضل لأنفسهن - وللآخرين. إن المراهقات، بما يخلقنه من حركات عالمية من أجل التغيير، هن القادة الجدد في عصرنا. وهنّ مستعدات للتحدي. في هذا اليوم العالمي للطفلة، فلنوحّد الصفوف معهنّ ومن أجلهنّ.

لم يواكب التقدم الذي أحرزته الفتيات المراهقات الحقائق التي يواجهنها اليوم، وقد عزز فيروس كوفيد-19 العديد من هذه الفجوات. وهذا العام، تحت شعار "صوتي، مستقبلنا المتكافئ"، دعونا نغتنم الفرصة لنلهم ما تراه الفتيات المراهقات على أنه التغيير الذي يريدنه، والحلول - الكبيرة والصغيرة - التي يقودونها وتطالب بها في جميع أنحاء العالم.

Our children are the next generation to raise the level of cooperation, love and peace

We must support girls by giving them access to the tools they need to determine their own destinies. This includes all they need to thrive in a digital world in terms of technological skills, connectivity and tools for ensuring safety. And we can all be inspired by teens who are taking the lead and making a better life for themselves - and for others. Adolescent girls, with the global movements for change they create, are the new leaders of our time. They are ready for the challenge. On this International Day of the Girl Child, let us unite with them and for them.
Let us strive to develop their talents and raise their voices, and let us work together for a better and more equal future for all of us. "
Equivalence
The progress of teenage girls has not kept up with the realities they face today, and the COVID-19 virus has reinforced many of these gaps. And this year, under the slogan "My Voice, Our Equal Future," let us seize the opportunity to inspire what teenage girls see as the change they want, and the solutions - big and small - that they are leading and demanding around the world.
In 2020, we celebrate 25 years since the adoption of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action - a global agenda for advancing the rights and empowerment of women and girls everywhere. Generation Equality was also launched in early 2020 as a multi-year, multi-partner campaign and movement to take bold action on gender equality. A clear narrative and action on adolescent girls' needs, opportunities and solutions is central to the Generation Equality mission.
As adolescent girls around the world affirm their power as makers of change, International Day of the Girl 2020 will focus on their demands for:
Live in an environment free from gender-based violence, harmful practices, HIV and AIDS
Learn new skills towards the future of their choice
Lead a generation of activists to accelerate social change
Ways to participate
Share stories of inspiring teenage girls or girl-led organizations developing innovative solutions or leading efforts towards positive social change, including gender equality, in their communities and countries. Let's enhance their leadership, actions, and influence to inspire others.
Participate in youth-led digital activation on the International Day of the Girl. Young people around the world are developing a digital activism campaign that aims to raise the diversity of girls ’voices and
their vision of an unimaginable future.
