ليبيا: بعد يومين من أول محادثات مباشرة، اللجنة العسكرية المشتركة تتوصل إلى اتفاق حول قضايا ذات أثر إيجابي على الشعب الليبي

قالت 《ستيفاني ويليامز》 الممثلة الخاصة للأمين العام في ليبيا بالإنابة، إن الوفدين الليبيين في اللجنة العسكرية المشتركة 5+5 اتفقا في محادثاتهما بجنيف، على عدة إجراءات من شأنها أن تؤدي إلى إحداث "أثر إيجابي مباشر على حياة الشعب الليبي".
وفي مؤتمرها الصحفي الذي عقدته اليوم الأربعاء في مقر الأمم المتحدة بالمدينة السويسرية جنيف، والذي يأتي بعد يومين من بدء أول محادثات مباشرة وجهاً لوجه بين الوفدين الليبيين في اللجنة العسكرية المشتركة 5+5، قالت ويليامز إن هذه المحادثات اتسمت بقدر كبير من الروح الوطنية والمهنية والإصرار على الحفاظ على وحدة ليبيا وسيادتها:
"يسعدني أن أبلغكم أن الجانبين قد توصلا إلى اتفاق حول العديد من القضايا الهامة التي تؤثر بشكل مباشر على حياة ورفاهية الشعب الليبي
الخاصة بالإنابة إن سبب نظرتها الإيجابية هو "روح المهنية الحقيقية والود الذي ألمسه بين الوفدين".
وأضافت أنهما "اجتمعا بسهولة، وفي غضون يومين فقط عالجا بعض القضايا المهمة حقا".
التدخل الأجنبي
وشددت ويليامز على أن درجة غير مقبولة من التدخل الأجنبي تؤكد الحاجة إلى حلول يملكها ويقودها ليبيون من شأنها استعادة سيادة البلاد بالكامل. وقالت إن الهدف النهائي هو إجراء انتخابات وطنية.
وبالعودة إلى أسباب الشعور بالتفاؤل، ذكرت ممثلة الأمين العام في ليبيا أن الاتفاق في جنيف بين المسؤولين العسكريين اليوم يركز على "القضايا التي تؤثر بشكل مباشر على حياة مواطنيهم".
وقالت "إنهم يشعرون أن لديهم مسؤولية تجاه إخوانهم الليبيين لإحداث فرق."
وسيواصل الجانبان المحادثات في جنيف للتركيز على الترتيبات الخاصة بالمنطقة الوسطى في ليبيا، والتي من شأنها أن تمهد الطريق لاتفاق لوقف إطلاق النار.

Stephanie Williams, the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Libya, said that the two Libyan delegations in the 5 + 5 Joint Military Committee agreed in their talks in Geneva on several measures that would lead to "a direct positive impact on the lives of the Libyan people."
In her press conference held today, Wednesday, at the United Nations headquarters in the Swiss city of Geneva, which comes two days after the start of the first face-to-face talks between the two Libyan delegations in the 5 + 5 Joint Military Committee, Williams said that these talks were characterized by a great deal of patriotism, professionalism and persistence. On preserving the unity and sovereignty of Libya:
"I am pleased to inform you that the two sides have reached an agreement on many important issues that directly affect the life and well-being of the Libyan people.
The cause of the delegation's positive view is the "true professionalism and friendliness that I feel between the two delegations."
"They met easily, and in just two days, they addressed some really important issues," she added.
Foreign intervention
Williams stressed that an unacceptable degree of foreign interference underscores the need for solutions owned and led by Libyans that will fully restore the country's sovereignty. She said the ultimate goal is to hold national elections.
Returning to the reasons for feeling optimistic, the representative of the Secretary-General in Libya said that the agreement in Geneva between military officials today focuses on "issues that directly affect the lives of their citizens."
"They feel they have a responsibility towards their Libyan brothers to make a difference," she said.
The two sides will continue talks in Geneva to focus on arrangements for the central region in Libya, which would pave the way for a ceasefire agreement.
