**حقوق المرأة هي حقوق الإنسان

. هذا ما شدد عليه مشاركات ومشاركون في اجتماع رفيع المستوى عقدته الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة، بمناسبة مرور ربع قرن على عقد المؤتمر الرابع حول المرأة المعروف بمؤتمر بيجين. عدّد المشاركون المكاسب وتطرقوا لأوجه القصور في تحقيق المساواة.
فعندما تأسست الأمم المتحدة عام 1945، لم تكن هناك أي رئيسة دولة أو حكومة، وعام 1995، كانت هناك 12 رئيسة دولة وحكومة، واليوم تمثل 22 سيّدة بلدها وحكومتها في المحافل الدولية.
هي إنجازات تاريخية تحققت منذ إعلان ومنهاج عمل بيجين قبل 25 عاما، بحسب بومزيلي ملامبو-نكوكا، الرئيسة التنفيذية لهيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة.
وفي كلمة مسجلة، قالت السيّدة بومزيلي إن إعلان ومنهاج عمل بيجين شكّل نقطة فارقة في النضال من أجل المساواة بين الجنسين، مشيرة للمكاسب الأخرى التي تحققت: "سُنّ 274 إصلاحا قانونيا في 131 دولة، وثمة مشاركة أوسع للنساء في عمليات السلام، وتم تجريم الجرائم الجنسانية والجنسية أثناء النزاعات بموجب القانون الدولي، والتحاق مزيد من الفتيات بالمدارس، وإحراز تقدم في مجال صحة الأمهات".
وقد عُقدت الفعالية رفيعة المستوى عبر تقنيات التواصل عن بعد، التزاما بمسؤولية اتباع الإرشادات الطبية المتعلقة بالتباعد البدني للمساهمة في السيطرة على انتشار فيروس كورونا.
●نصيحة للرجل بشأن المرأة
